Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EMS Billing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical and administrative work regarding billing for the County's ambulance services.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with third-party administrators, commercial insurance companies, Medicare, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment for services rendered
  • Perform responsible technical and administrative work regarding billing for the County's ambulance services
  • Work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing or a related field
