Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach Art courses at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Art education and a terminal degree in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced Art courses, including visual arts, art and architectural history, digital imaging, and animation.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and creativity.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum.
Requirements
  • Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Proven teaching experience in Art education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
