As a Field Engineer, you will be part of our Operations team that is responsible for ensuring construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, customer specifications and design within a set cost budget.

Our estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards in the region.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist project management, supervisors, and crafts to ensure construction work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Interpret designs and drawings for material installation.
  • Manage daily foreman time sheets, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, costs, quantities, and actual expenditures for input into our cost control system.
  • Calculate material and work quantity requirements, monitor progress, and track percentage complete per work item.
  • Prepare and submit required project documents, including new contracts with subcontractors, project schedules, submittals, material requirements, daily reports, etc.

We are seeking a critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of self-discipline to ensure successful project execution. You should have a strong ability to communicate effectively, develop trust across stakeholders, and demonstrate a high degree of critical thinking skills.

Educational requirements include a four-year degree in Engineering or a related field. Two years of job costing experience are preferred but not required. Above-average computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, are essential. Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to the discipline is also required.
