The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the Float Pool team at Union Hospital, a part of Christiana Care Health System. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, including night shifts and some day shifts.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using the nursing process and aligning with accepted standards of progressive care nursing and the policies and procedures of Union Hospital.
- Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and doctors to provide individualized care.
- Coordinate and ensure a safe and secure unit for patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Collaborative approach to patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
