Job Summary

The Meat Cutter is a key member of our team, responsible for performing various cuts for meat items in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock merchandise in both the fresh and frozen cases
  • Follow established department procedures for receiving incoming shipments and product pricing
  • Ensure product quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers
  • Rewrap meat packages as needed
  • Perform constant meat cutting with knife and/or saw machine
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic kitchen skills and familiarity with food preparation
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Working Conditions

The work environment is typical of an office and retail store, with a moderate noise level. The employee is required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
