Responsibilities

What you will do:
  • Act as a trusted member of the engagement team, providing diverse tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
  • Serve as a valued business advisor, addressing daily tax matters for clients ranging from middle-market to multinational.
  • Engage in special projects across various areas of flow-through and corporate taxation, considering implications for owners.
  • Assist in preparing hedge fund investment partnership, private equity partnership, and management company partner allocations and K-1 information.
  • Formulate recommendations for clients and collaborate with leadership to strategize.
  • Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters, including state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, as well as credits and incentives.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business field, with sufficient coursework to qualify for the CPA and/or Bar exam.
  • Preferred CPA or JD license.
  • Two or more years of experience in providing tax compliance and consulting services within a public accounting firm, particularly with flow-through entities and Asset Management companies.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, along with initiative and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other relevant software.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.
