Job Description
">We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Staff Nurse to join our team at HopeHealth, Inc. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, performing direct patient care, assisting patients and providers in obtaining medicinal prior authorizations, verifying patients' understanding of their visit, and providing preventative care information.

- Assess the needs of patients based on data collected through history observation, physical exam, telephone triage, and analysis or diagnostic data.">
- Perform direct patient care: triage, assessment, procedures, treatment, patient education, and follow-up instructions.">
- Assist patients and providers in obtaining medicinal prior authorizations when required.">
- Verify that patients understand the purpose of their visit.">
- Provide preventative care information matching patients' age, gender, and health status.">
- Maintain knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.">
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.">
- BASIC CRITICAL CARE AND CHRONIC ILLNESS MANAGEMENT.">
Requirements

- Diploma in Nursing; minimum requirements or Associate's degree in Nursing.">
- Licensed by the State Board of Nursing.">
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.">
- Two years of experience in a physician's office preferred.">
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.">
- Ability to multitask and handle various tasks simultaneously.">
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations, and protocols.">
- Knowledge of data bases (e.g., EMR systems).">
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.">
- Familiar with medication names and usage.">
- Medical terminology.">
Compensation and Benefits
