We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager RN to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the delivery of patient care services in assigned units
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services
- Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems
- Monitor and adhere to budget
- Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines
- Ensure high levels of associate, patient, and physician satisfaction
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development, and evaluating of staff
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing
- Education: Required professional licensure/certification and 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience preferred
- Additional Preferences: Cath Lab nursing background, Cardiovascular ICU nursing background, ED RN experience, BSN
