Position: Senior Analyst, Benefit Payments

Overview:

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Northern Trust clients and partners, providing expert taxation guidance. This role encompasses responsibilities in tax and retirement planning, as well as trust and investment products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tax planning initiatives and conduct research, while preparing and monitoring specific reports.
  • Review and prepare intricate tax products, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of various demand deposit accounts and general ledger accounts.
Qualifications:
  • A degree from a college or university, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in account reconciliation.
  • Preferred background in payroll, tax filings, and deposits.
  • Strong analytical, procedural, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and effective collaboration skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
