Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the OR.

About the Role:
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Circulate and/or scrub on all cases, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
  • Act as an advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and that the OR is properly prepared for each case.

Requirements:
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
  • Current RN license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
