Bulk Scale Attendant

As a Bulk Scale Attendant at Producers Rice Mill, Inc., you will be responsible for assisting with the inspection and loading of rice onto hopper trucks and cars. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Inspect carriers before loading to ensure they are in good condition
• Load rice onto hopper trucks and cars
• Place seals on carriers
• Clean and sanitize the bulk rice loading area and equipment
• Perform dry cleaning and sweeping of equipment and structures
• Complete and maintain records of pre-loading inspections, sanitation, and seal numbers

• Must possess good communication skills
• Must be willing to climb up to 40 feet
• Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time
• Must be willing to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be age 21 or older with a clear driving record
