Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours, must float to other departments as needed
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3 years current Medical Surgical experience and 3 years of nursing experience required
License: Valid West Virginia Nursing License
Certifications: BLS (AHA)

Requirements:
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage a full patient load
  • Two years of previous travel experience required
  • Sorian EMR experience preferred
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work on the Medical Surgical unit, with responsibilities including patient care for Covid patients at times
  • Ensure patient safety and high-quality care with a patient ratio of 1:
  • Adhere to the facility's dress code with traveler-provided navy blue scrubs
  • Utilize the Sorian Electronic Medical Record system
  • Work every other weekend and holidays as required
  • Maintain professional boundaries and a strong attendance record
  • Orientation hours to be determined upon hiring
  • Flexible with limited Requested Time Off (RTO) regulations, as no more than 5 days will be accepted during the assignment

  • Candidates must not have a permanent address within a 50-mile radius of the facility
