Position Overview:
We are looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support our distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will play a vital role in managing HR functions for a workforce of over 300 employees in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to address their human resources needs effectively.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on HR best practices to enhance employee engagement and retention.

  • Identify and recruit hourly talent to meet staffing requirements.
  • Facilitate various meetings, including new-hire orientations and leadership sessions.

  • Oversee HRIS systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance team member skills.

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide actionable insights to improve retention.
  • Stay informed on federal and state employment laws to ensure compliance.
  • Represent HR in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Engage in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Office-based role with a commitment of 40+ hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Occasional travel may be required (0-25%).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of progressive HR experience is preferred, ideally in a retail setting. SPHR or PHR certification is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential. Familiarity with employment law is beneficial.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships with business partners and maintain confidentiality.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Certifications: PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
