The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care settings, with a strong focus on rhythm interpretation and critical vital sign monitoring. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities:- Monitoring and Intervention: Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care.
- Patient Education: Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status. Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies.
- Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Competitive salary range: $80,000 to $110,000 per year
