Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Controls Engineer to join our team at The Intersect Group. As a key member of our industrial automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing process control systems that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop process control systems using Siemens and other industry-leading software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Implement and test process control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on Process Control
  • 5+ years of experience in process control work, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of process control systems, including design, development, and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Siemens or other process control systems
  • Familiarity with CAD systems, such as AutoCAD and ePlan
  • Programming experience, including object-oriented programming concepts
  • Second language proficiency
