Insight Global is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the Facilities Planning and Development division. This role is pivotal in delivering project management and engineering expertise across a variety of capital facility initiatives, encompassing both new constructions and renovations.
The selected candidate will engage in:
- Overseeing project management tasks for diverse capital projects.
- Providing engineering support for both interior and exterior lighting systems.
- Managing building electrical service entries and distribution networks.
- Developing site electrical infrastructure for new projects.
This position necessitates collaboration with key stakeholders in campus master planning, ensuring effective oversight of design alternatives and construction documentation.
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a facilities or building-focused role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Possession of a current EIT or PE certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
- Experience in construction administration.
- Knowledge of medium voltage electrical systems.
- Background in managing design and/or construction for educational or governmental facilities.
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $140,000, with exact compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, and education.
