Job Summary

At GED Integrated Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Machine Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing complex machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and plan mechanical assemblies, including subassembly work and mounting of commercial components.
  • Work from blueprints, assembly drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to assemble, disassemble, repair, and adjust various units, attachments, and components.
  • Check for defects and damage to components prior to installation and ensure accurate assembly.
  • Start-up and test finished machinery to ensure it meets specifications.
  • Perform inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and reporting discrepancies.
  • Report time, production, and other required information on proper forms.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of basic measuring instruments, machine electrical controls, and mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical drawings.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a production/assembly environment preferred.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and will be exposed to various environmental conditions, loud noise levels, and mechanical parts.
