Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel assignment opportunity for a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience in Women's Services, specifically in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care. The ideal candidate will have experience with L&D, Post-Partum, and OR Circulation/Triage.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units
- Assist with deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care
- Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and making sound decisions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities, including staffing and scheduling
- 3+ years of experience in Women's Services, specifically in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care
- Experience with L&D, Post-Partum, and OR Circulation/Triage
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and float to other units as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current certifications in NPR, BLS, ACLS, and STABLE
St Lukes Nampa Medical Center is a 14-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 2 OR suites for C-Sections. The unit has a 1:1 labor ratio, 1:3 postpartum ratio, and 1:3 triage ratio. The hospital has a diverse patient population, with a high volume of patients with hypertension, gestational diabetes, and other medical conditions.
