Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they shop in the retail store, assisting with customer service questions and providing product information.
  • Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
  • Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
  • Assist in receiving freight and organizing incoming products as directed by store management.
  • Responsible for assisting in cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle customer transactions utilizing the KCX cash register system and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Responsible for handling customer returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing.
  • Frequent bending and twisting.

Education and Experience:

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Previous retail experience and knowledge of firearms sales is a plus.

Working Environment and Conditions:

The Sales Associate will work in a fast-paced retail store environment, with frequent exposure to cold and warm conditions. Irregular work schedules may be required.

Equipment and Tools:

The Sales Associate will be required to use a computer, calculator, cash register-scanner, telephone, fax, copy machine, and computer software and network.
