Our systems seamlessly integrate with renewable energy sources to minimize carbon footprints and are tailored to meet specific power requirements.

Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned electrical engineer with over 5 years of expertise in power electronics design, particularly for systems ranging from 1kW to 500kW. Candidates with experience in high voltage battery systems, charging technologies, MESS systems, and electric vehicle charging will be given preference. Familiarity with Battery Management Systems is also advantageous.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in system-level design involving batteries, power converters, inverters, DC-DC converters, battery chargers, and/or Battery Management Systems.
  • Competence in circuit-level design and simulation.
  • In-depth knowledge of magnetic components utilized in high power conversion, including transformers, filters, and inductors.
  • Hands-on experience with power electronics testing, characterization, and relevant testing equipment and methodologies.
  • Understanding of agency certification standards for high power consumer and/or industrial systems.
  • Ability to adhere to a structured development process with excellent documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with inter-module communication protocols such as CAN and RS485.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers to source or develop components for cutting-edge designs.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Ability to effectively engage with customers and build strong relationships with their technical teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, preferably within the United States.

Additional Skills

Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
