Leading Gastroenterologist Position with Endoscopy Focus

We are currently seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team at Greenstaff Physician & Provider Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for medical professionals looking to expand their expertise in general GI cases and endoscopic procedures.
About the Role:
- This 26-week contract will see you working in a busy clinic setting, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our gastroenterology department.
- You can expect to work 5 days a week, with 8-hour shifts, and enjoy a favorable schedule with one week on, one week off.
- Inpatient only rotations ensure you stay focused on your specialty without compromising patient outcomes.
Work Details:
- Our dedicated support staff includes nurses and medical assistants, ensuring seamless care coordination and minimizing administrative tasks.
- Coverage requirements are moderate, with 5, 8-hour shifts per week, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- You'll be responsible for managing 15-20 patients daily, catering to adults in need of gastrointestinal care.
- Emphasizing a focus on endoscopies, this position requires strong skills in general GI cases but does not necessitate ERCP or EUS experience.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience as a board-certified Gastroenterologist.
- State license (Rhode Island) and DEA registration are mandatory, while CSR is not required.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are necessary for this position.
