Job SummaryWe are seeking an individual who possesses NJ State Nursing Certification and County Substitute Credential OR School Nurse Certificate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently.
The substitute school nurse will assist in the health office to ensure state mandated annual health screens for all students, and enable medically fragile students to participate in field trips. Additionally, they will provide support to teachers and staff members as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional expertise in recommending and delivering appropriate health services to students.
- Assist in the health office to ensure state mandated annual health screens for all students.
- Enable medically fragile students to participate in field trips.
- NJ State Nursing Certification and County Substitute Credential OR School Nurse Certificate.
This is a per diem position with a competitive rate of $200 per day.
