We are seeking a highly skilled Philanthropy Coordinator to join our team at The Salt Lake Tribune Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in expanding our nonprofit model to communities across Utah.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and have a passion for media and philanthropy. You will be responsible for managing small dollar donor relations, prospecting, acquiring, and stewarding potential donors, and assisting with project management of small dollar campaigns.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, proficiency with Salesforce or comparable database, strong writing skills, mastery of Excel and Google Applications, experience in deck creation, and comfort attending events and speaking with donors and prospects.

The salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, cellphone stipend, 401(k) with matching, paid family leave, paid time off and sick leave, and mileage reimbursement.

This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of quarterly travel within Utah. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and have an interest in understanding the business of news and knowledge of the nonprofit community in Utah.
