Counselor Supervisor Job Description

At BayMark Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselor Supervisor to join our team. As a Counselor Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality counseling services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of counselors to ensure they are providing the best possible care to our patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and BayMark policies.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinicians and assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service trainings, and reviewing literature.
  • Ensure accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an independently licensed clinician and supervisor in New Mexico.
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
  • Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
