Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse Across America. As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting, documenting and providing physician-directed care, assessing and implementing patient care plans, and delegating to other care providers as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and long-term care needs.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, order and evaluate diagnostic tests, and prepare and administer prescribed medications.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and other relevant certifications
