Job Details

Atrium Health - 304 Turner McCall Boulevard is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering programs of Physical Therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and enhance physical and functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability, and enhance physical and functional abilities.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care and coordination.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Supervise and educate Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises and activities to patients and caregivers.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required due to possible exposure to hazardous chemicals or blood and body fluids.
Work Environment

This position is located in a fast-paced clinical environment with occasional outdoor work. The work environment is primarily indoors, but occasional outdoor work may be required.
