Driller Assistant

The Driller Assistant is responsible for supporting the Driller in the recovery and presentation of samples through safe, cost-effective, and professional practices. This role ensures that all aspects of the duties and tasks outlined within this specification are undertaken in accordance with Major Drilling policies, procedures, and practices.

• Assist the Driller in the recovery and presentation of samples.
• Ensure safety and the safety of co-workers by following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Operate and maintain machinery with a mechanical background and aptitude.
• Travel up to 100% to various locations, including Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Alaska, Montana, and Wyoming.
• Work in a team environment and be compatible with other team members.
• Adapt to a nomadic lifestyle and work 12-hour shifts in various climatic conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a current, registered driver's license without major infractions in the last three years.
• Be physically fit and able to pass a fit-for-duty test.
• Pass a pre-hire drug test and be eligible to work in the U.S.
