Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Firelands Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition and wellness services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with weight management, diabetes, and special needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention in the community.
  • Provide direct education and support to patients with specific nutritional needs, such as celiac disease, pediatric, or cystic fibrosis.
  • Screen medical records for pertinent information and document as needed.
  • Calculate diets for weight management patients and other modified diets in accordance with disease states.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian licensed in the State of Ohio.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDES) certification.
  • Experience in nutritional care and education strongly desired.
  • Successful completion of a one hundred eighty (180) day get-acquainted period.
