Job SummaryHealthDrive is seeking an experienced Optometrist to provide on-site optometric services to residents of long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
- Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
- Provide general optometry services, including diagnosing and treating refractive disorders and ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
- Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
- Travel to assigned facilities to provide mobile model treatment of patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.)
- State professional license
- Valid driver's license
- TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare-related software.
