Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Sample Collector to join our team at TemPositions Health Care. As a Telehealth Sample Collector, you will be responsible for visiting nursing homes and assisted living facilities to assist with the collection of patient samples and telehealth coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify Insurance: Check patient insurance eligibility upon arrival and ensure all documentation is accurate.
- Coordinate Telehealth: Set up and coordinate telehealth appointments between patients and physicians on-site.
- Assist with Swab Collection: Collect nasal swabs when needed or assist trained personnel with the process.
- Maintain Records: Ensure all demographic, insurance, and test results are properly recorded in the system.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting or with sample collection is preferred.
- Insurance Verification: Basic knowledge of insurance verification processes. (training will be provided)
- Telehealth Platform: Ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and physicians.
- Swab Collection: Some experience in swab collection is a plus, but not required.
