About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Radiology Technologist to join our team at our Main Campus. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of technical data, adhering to departmental standards.
  • Notify management of equipment malfunctions and take appropriate action to ensure minimal disruption to patient care.
  • Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exam requirements to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams, demonstrating a commitment to compassionate care.
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures and monitor patient flow to optimize efficiency.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the operation and maintenance of radiology equipment, adhering to technical specifications and applications.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to perform fluoroscopic, GI, and pediatric procedures, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Process billing via RIS, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with technical advancements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment.
  • (BLS) certification required.
