Job Overview

Oregon Freeze Dry, renowned for its Mountain House products, is seeking dedicated Processing Operators. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities essential for the preparation, processing, and packaging of both food and non-food items.

Shift Availability: Morning Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM | Evening Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain food processing equipment, including setup and breakdown procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of team members.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of the processing area.
  • Ensure the quality of processes and products is consistently upheld.
  • Facilitate communication with packaging teams, coordinators, and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in production processes or machinery is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, whether formal or informal.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are crucial.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately and promptly is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between company locations.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, both day and night, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: Hourly wage of $21.00, with overtime pay at $31.50.

Estimated Weekly Earnings:

Regular Earnings: $735.00 | Overtime Earnings: $220.50 | Total Estimated Earnings: $955.50

Effective Hourly Rate: $22.73 based on a standard 40-hour work week.
