RESPONSIBILITIES

Weatherford is seeking a Senior Welder for the Night Shift. This hands-on role involves repairing and maintaining equipment for the oil and gas sector. The Welder will work within a supportive and inclusive team in a dynamic and progressive environment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fabricate or repair metal components by welding according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, utilizing a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
  • Join metal parts together, employing gas welding or brazing techniques along with various arc welding processes.
  • Execute related tasks, including thermal cutting and grinding.
  • Repair damaged or cracked components, fill voids, and enlarge metal parts as necessary.
  • Position and secure components of fabricated metal products in preparation for welding.
  • Maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Understand and adhere to Weatherford's Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Ensure work assignments are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Familiarity with a variety of welding machines.
  • Knowledge of different welding rods, gases, and processes.
  • Experience with cutting torch or torch equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Physical ability to respond to emergency situations promptly.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Mig & Tig Process Knowledge Required
  • Shift starts at 4:30 PM CST / Shift Differential Paid
  • Must be willing to work night shifts
  • Pre-employment welding assessments are required.
