We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and lead our team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Lead and coordinate the care of patients with complex medical conditions, including trauma, stroke, and chest pain.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and report patient condition to the physician and other healthcare team members as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
- Experience working in a critical care setting, such as the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
- Leadership experience, including charge nurse or team lead roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
