Program Overview

The Marine Corps' Prepositioning Program is vital for enabling rapid deployment and operational readiness of Marine forces worldwide. This program ensures that equipment and supplies are strategically positioned to support various military operations, enhancing the capability to respond to crises and maintain forward presence.

Role Summary

The Supply Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities of supply technicians engaged in supply chain and warehouse operations for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. This role involves direct reporting to the Logistics Manager and encompasses a range of responsibilities to ensure efficient supply management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage supply chain operations, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and Marine Corps policies.
  • Supervise supply technicians in their roles related to acquisition, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Monitor supply readiness and warehouse organization, providing guidance on asset management.
  • Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained in supply chain functions.
  • Evaluate work priorities to optimize resource utilization and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage requisition processes for necessary supplies.
  • Review and approve requisitions in line with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
  • Conduct inspections to verify adherence to specifications and timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO policies and procedures relevant to the program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in logistics and supply operations, with at least five years in a supervisory role.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possession of a valid state Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
  • Successful completion of an FBI Background investigation is mandatory.
  • Ability to secure a work visa and Alien Employment Permit as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with USMC MOS 3043.
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps regulations and procedures.
  • Relevant industry certifications.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting.
  • Expertise in military storage protocols.
  • Understanding of maintenance procedures for military equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adhere to established quality standards and timelines.
