North Myrtle Beach Dentistry is a well-established dental practice that values teamwork, communication, and community. We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team of 13 professionals who thrive on collaboration and patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and support our clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and working closely with our doctors to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Work closely with our doctors to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
