Join Vertiv as a CAD/BIM Designer. Be an integral part of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team, contributing to the design processes for our essential infrastructure clients. We are seeking proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with SolidWorks knowledge considered beneficial. While experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. A keen eye for detail and strong collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate coordination for various projects, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee busbar services within multidisciplinary models to detect and resolve clashes and inconsistencies.
  • Lead a team of coordinators, providing mentorship and direction for effective task completion.
  • Establish and execute plans, standards, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage the creation, upkeep, and administration of models, including data integration and clash detection.
  • Work alongside project managers to guarantee that deliverables meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of models to identify and rectify design challenges.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to assess and enhance software and tools.
  • Offer training and support on design methodologies and technologies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Engage with clients and external partners to address their inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess a qualification related to Revit, 3D CAD, or a similar field.
  • 0 to 5+ years of experience in CAD coordination.
  • Associate's degree in architecture, design, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of CAD standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management abilities with a focus on task prioritization.
  • Understanding of construction and design workflows.
  • Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
