We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth North Pinellas. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
About the RoleThe Certified Nursing Assistant will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care. This includes assessing patient needs, providing care in a clean and safe environment, and reporting patient status to the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in a clean and safe environment
- Assess patient needs and report to the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
- Represent the Department of Patient Care Services in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures
- Data collection concerning the health status of the patient is precise, continuous, accessible, readable, communicated and recorded
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Training Program and/or completion of first semester of RN program
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
