We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position in the realm of computer vision and machine learning. The selected candidate will become part of a diverse team of scientists and engineers, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) methodologies utilizing data from various sensors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, design, and implement advanced image processing and computer vision algorithms for a real-time vision pipeline, including tasks such as camera calibration, multi-object tracking, object detection and classification, segmentation, and multi-sensor integration.
  • Oversee, enhance, and refine existing in-house algorithms and models through continuous evaluation, gap analysis, re-training, and optimization.
  • Develop cutting-edge deep learning architectures and networks using data from multiple sensors, with responsibilities including training, evaluating, benchmarking, and deploying into real-time systems.
  • Optimize algorithm performance across diverse development platforms and embedded systems.
  • Create evaluation scripts to process extensive datasets and accurately assess algorithmic and overall performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Vision/Machine Learning with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in Python/C++ programming, with a solid understanding of software development best practices, debugging, and profiling.
  • Strong grasp of stereo/multi-view geometric computer vision and classical techniques for natural scene imagery.
  • Practical experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV and PIL.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one mainstream deep learning framework, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX.
  • Experience in writing production-level code.
  • Familiarity with data science tools such as Jupyter Lab/Notebooks, Pandas, Bash scripting, and Linux environments.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-sensor calibration and multi-view geometry.
  • Hands-on experience with various neural network architectures (CNNs, RNNs, etc.) and specific methodologies for classification, segmentation, and object detection.
  • Solid foundation in software engineering with a commitment to writing clean, well-structured code.
  • Understanding of the physical characteristics of sensors, including cameras and LiDAR systems.
  • Publications in prominent computer vision/machine learning conferences and journals.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, analysis, and significance testing.
  • Familiarity with edge computing platforms and coding for resource-constrained environments.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
