Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pediatric intensivist to join our team at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. As a key member of our multidisciplinary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will provide exceptional medical care to critically ill children and contribute to the advancement of pediatric critical care through research and education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the PICU, collaborating with a team of pediatric intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals in pediatric critical care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures in the PICU.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities to advance the field of pediatric critical care.
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
