Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Avamere Hermiston. As a Caregiver On-Call, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living and updating service plans.
  • Participate in the Life Enrichment Program and encourage residents to engage in activities.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Document and communicate resident changes and complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of resident care.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • HCA license preferred.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification and Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders.
