Job Title: Dental Hygienist

At France Dental, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the oral health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Teeth Cleaning and Maintenance: Remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth to prevent gum disease and promote healthy smiles.
  • Fluoride and Sealant Applications: Apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth from decay and sensitivity.
  • Dental X-Rays and Imaging: Take and develop dental x-rays to diagnose and monitor oral health issues.
  • Oral Health Assessments: Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists to ensure timely treatment.
  • Patient Comfort and Care: Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease before and during their examination.
  • Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize dental instruments properly to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Mouth Screenings and History: Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history to identify potential issues.
  • Condition Identification: Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis and report findings to dentists.
  • Teeth Protection and Education: Clean and protect patients' teeth, and educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care techniques.
  • Post-Procedure Instructions: Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures.
  • X-Rays and Impressions: Take X-rays or dental impressions as needed.
  • Treatment Recommendations: Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases, including oral cancer.
  • Documentation and Charting: Maintain documentation and charts on each patient to ensure accurate records.
  • Supply Management: Monitor supplies to ensure a well-stocked and efficient dental care environment.
