POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities include delivering direct care to residents as per their care plans and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional tasks may be assigned by community representatives.
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while maintaining the standards of practice established by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old (if 16, must be currently enrolled in high school).
- Proficiency in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Ability to observe and implement proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours based on position requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift & Compensation:
- Full-Time Positions Available
- Required Shifts: Evening (3-11) with Every Other Weekend
