Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Glazing Foreman - Commercial to oversee the activities of a team of production workers at Building Envelope Construction Co. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial storefront, curtainwall, and window work, as well as experience as a commercial crew leader or foreman.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily activities of production crews to ensure efficient installation of aluminum, steel, hardware, and glass components per plans and specifications.
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate personnel and coordinate with other trades and the general contractor team.
  • Inspect all materials and substrate to ensure proper installation and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Report regularly to the superintendent and provide updates on project progress.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in commercial glazing, including storefront, curtainwall, and window work.
  • Experience as a commercial crew leader or foreman.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment common to commercial glazing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
