About the Job:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented In Room Dining Server to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As an In Room Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving food courses and alcoholic beverages in their rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in their rooms.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Answer questions on menu selections.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system at time of order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
- Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
