Jefferson Outpatient Imaging is in search of a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to become part of our dynamic, patient-centered team. If you have a passion for patient care and enjoy engaging with individuals, we invite you to consider the role of Ultrasound Technician PRN, where you will work on an as-needed basis at our outpatient imaging facilities.

Requirements:
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations, or approved exemptions, are mandatory for employment.

Educational Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic sonography program.

Licensure and Certification:
• Must be registered or registry eligible through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or ARRT (S).
• RVT certification is required within one year of hire, along with one of the following: OB, Abdominal, or General. Additionally, candidates must meet state licensure requirements for their practice location. BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities:
• Proficient in operating sonography equipment and related ancillary devices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Capable of providing accurate and concise documentation.
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
