Speech Language Pathologist

At Vidant Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services.
Key Responsibilities:- Observe, evaluate, and document diagnostic and treatment effects.
- Consult with supervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professional development.
- Participate in team dynamics and interdisciplinary activities.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders.
- Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA.
- Progressive and dynamic knowledge of Speech Language Pathology and a willingness to participate in continuing education and training.
- Prior experience in a medically based Speech Language Pathology setting.
- Prior direct patient care experience with medically complex patients.
- Prior direct patient care experience with trachs/vents and instrumental swallowing evaluation techniques.
