At EquipmentShare, we're seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our team at our Whittier, CA location. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for various customer and company-owned equipment, including power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
About the RoleWe offer a competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour (dependent on experience) for this full-time position. Our schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after working 40 hours. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous paid time off, and annual tool and boot reimbursements.
Responsibilities- Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment failures at our shop and customer locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
- Work individually or in teams to set up and operate equipment at our shop and customer sites.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
- Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery.
Additionally, we provide year-round OEM training and opportunities for career advancement and professional development. As a Field Technician, you must have advanced mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of tools, and experience working on power generators and commercial HVAC equipment.
Requirements- High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
