EquipmentShare Mechanic Specialist

At EquipmentShare, we're seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our team at our Whittier, CA location. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for various customer and company-owned equipment, including power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour (dependent on experience) for this full-time position. Our schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after working 40 hours. 1. Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment failures at our shop and customer locations.
2. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
3. Work individually or in teams to set up and operate equipment at our shop and customer sites.
4. Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
5. Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery.

Additionally, we provide year-round OEM training and opportunities for career advancement and professional development. As a Field Technician, you must have advanced mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of tools, and experience working on power generators and commercial HVAC equipment.

• High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
