Role Summary
We are in search of a dynamic and knowledgeable Fleet Operations Manager to lead and enhance our fleet activities. The successful candidate will have a significant presence in the operational areas and will collaborate with teams across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee surplus asset management and deliver results while being an accessible resource for operational teams.
- Regularly engage with local fleet teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- Conduct site visits to different regions to maintain uniform fleet management standards.
- Collaborate with fellow managers to streamline efforts and broaden operational coverage.
- Serve as the primary contact for fleet initiatives, including training, promotion, and execution.
- Manage programs related to national accounts, asset transfers, disposals, new vehicle acquisitions, and fuel management.
- Advocate for the fleet department and enhance its visibility within the organization.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar capacity is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in fleet management or a comparable position.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various locations.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle in accordance with company policies.
- Experience in oil and gas operations is advantageous.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
