The Impact You Will Make

As a Sales Counselor at Everstory, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, guiding families and individuals through end-of-life memorial planning. You'll utilize our sales process, leveraging discovery, industry expertise, and customer-driven solutions to sell products and services. Your goal will be to maximize revenue for the organization while succeeding in a commission-based selling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized guidance to individuals and families through memorial planning, utilizing sales presentations and additional tools.
  • Offer options to meet unique needs, including touring locations, identifying plots, and advising on burial, entombment, cremation, memorials, and merchandise.
  • Manage CRM and lead data, generating new leads through networking, online, and cold calling, and categorizing leads.
  • Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
  • Complete required paperwork and processes to finalize sales and deliver services.
  • Participate in supporting services and sales meetings, communicating effectively with local management and team members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional education in business, marketing, or sales preferred.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for offsite appointments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
